Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad - Durbin, WV
Running along the former C&O Greenbrier line, the short stretch from Durbin to Hosterman hosts some gorgeous vistas. The track runs past rock faces and small valleys, all creating timeless scenes of life in the mountains. One of the few Heisler geared steam locomotives in operation the US makes quite the show on this line. Soon, this engine will be able to operate all the way to Cass, as a previously washed out section of the railroad is almost completely rebuilt. Needless to say, the future is bright for the Durbin & Greenbrier.
